While there are many Tuxedos made by Joseph Abboud this is the most
impressive. This two-button coat with a notch lapel has a rich classic
look. The lapel on any coat makes the boldest statement and this lapel
is wide without being too wide, long and elegant, so this will show off
that vest and tie, while delicately balancing the overall composition of
the look. The material on these tuxedos separate it from the pack, they
are made of very lightweight super 120 wool milled in Italy by Lora
Piana, one of the most respected mercantile mills in the world. Your
basic tuxedo is about a 65 weight. The color is a deep rich midnight
black and has a very nice drape to it; this will compliment anyone’s
body. The pants are double pleated and lined with satin which not only
feel nice but they also help to pull moisture away from the skin and
keep you cooler on those really warm days. Joseph Abboud tuxedos are
very comfortable and offer a little more room than other tuxedos.
Joseph Abboud was a stylist for Ralph Lauren and branched off onto
his own with a complete line of menswear. He started cutting tuxedos in
2000 however really hadn’t gotten his name into the tuxedo stores until
2003 once folks started wearing his tuxedos they came to realize how he
has elevated the bar. There truly isn’t a better quality tuxedo to rent
out there and pound for pound if you’re buying your own tuxedo you won’t
find a better value!
